A VPN (virtual private network) encrypts your connection and routes it through a server in another place. In Saudi Arabia people use one for privacy on public Wi-Fi, for work networks and for travel; people abroad use one with a Saudi server to get a Saudi IP address. This guide compares the services that document what they do: where their servers are, whether they have a free plan, how many devices they allow, how long their refund lasts and who audited them.
VPNKSA is not a VPN provider and we are not paid for rankings. The VPN links on this site carry no affiliate codes. We have not run our own speed tests, so we rank on documented features, and we say where a provider leaves something out.
VPN for Android
On Android, install a VPN only from Google Play or the provider’s own site, then turn on Always-on VPN in Android’s settings so no app can connect outside the tunnel. Our VPN for Android guide ranks the apps with official download links.
VPN for iPhone / iPad
On iPhone and iPad, VPN apps come from the App Store and appear as a switch in Settings once installed. The VPN for iPhone guide compares them, with App Store links, and our step-by-step guide shows the setup.
VPN for Windows
Download a Windows VPN only from the provider’s own site; “free download for PC” pages are a common way to spread malware. The VPN for Windows guide links to each official download and the kill switch to turn on first.
VPN for MacOS
On a Mac you install from the Mac App Store or the provider’s site, and macOS asks once to allow the VPN configuration. See VPN for MacOS for the apps and the minimum macOS versions.
Is a VPN legal in Saudi Arabia?
Saudi Arabia’s Anti-Cyber Crime Law of 2007 does not mention VPNs, and we found no official Saudi source that bans them. Using a VPN to reach blocked content or to commit a crime is still punishable. Read Is VPN Allowed in Saudi Arabia? for the details.
How we compare VPNs
- Saudi server. Whether the provider lists a Saudi Arabia location, and whether it is virtual (a Saudi IP address on a server in another country).
- Restrictive networks. Whether the app has obfuscation, which disguises VPN traffic on networks that block or slow it.
- Audits. Whether an independent firm checked the no-logs claim, and when.
- Terms. Free plan, trial, number of devices and the refund window, from the provider’s own pages.
