Our selection process
- The app is on the App Store and the provider says what it logs.
- An independent firm has audited the no-logs claim or the apps.
- The provider says whether it has a Saudi location and whether that location is virtual.
- Free plan, trial, devices and refund terms are on the provider’s own pages.
We removed several apps that this page used to list. Atlas VPN shut down in April 2024 and moved its paid users to NordVPN. The VPN Gate apps we linked were not made by the VPN Gate project, and their site no longer works. ThetaVPN, MenaVPN and AbanVPN are not ranked any more: we could not find independent audits or the facts we check for every app here.

- Tap Connect. iOS asks to add a VPN configuration: tap Allow and confirm with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode.
- Pick a server. From Saudi Arabia, a nearby one (UAE, Bahrain or Qatar) is usually fastest.
- Check that a VPN switch now shows in Settings, and that your IP address has changed.
Our step-by-step iPhone guide covers each screen and what to do if the connection fails.
